Mining industryBasic and detailed engineering were performed for a mining expansion project. The project was of strategic importance for the Republic of Uzbekistan, as the mining company is state-owned. This created significant pressure from a schedule implementation perspective. Nevertheless, our team made every effort to meet the Customer's requirements and deliver the agreed scope on time.

Engineering support.
Despite a strong focus on constructible solutions, construction contractors introduced ongoing changes to the original design. In some cases, these changes were communicated only after implementation. This provided our team with the opportunity to study non-standard solutions and analyse them using FEM software.
Key challenge.
Our team was involved in both basic and detailed engineering as a subcontractor. During the transition from the basic engineering stage to the detailed engineering stage, a change of the main design contractor occurred. Despite this, our team participated in both stages of the project and was contracted to work with both main design contractors.
